Wife (more added, weird stuff, etc. Love too)

Ohh, my Girl. How I Love You So. It's true, you know, no matter how many times I write it, no matter how "everyday" it can seem........

How I Love You So, How Crazy I Am About You.

Head Over Heels, Always. You're My Girl, you know?

So the following is written with a mixture of sheepishness, just plain "guyness", and a little bit of fragility........but it's all good, so don't worry. :):)

I didn't write last night, and then I was gonna write a long blog this morn, one of those tedious explanatory blogs in which I expound on my feelings ad nauseum (and hey, if I was in a Punk Rock band, that could be my name: Ad Nauseum!)

Anyway, I'm sure you can guess why, except this time, when I got home this morn from Pearl's, I thought, "well, I don't wanna write a blog like that after all". The same thing happened last night. I thought, "It's no big deal". And it really wasn't. That's why I wanted to post a song like I always do. For me, posting a love song at the end of the evening is my version of the goodnight phone call. It's my way of being there with you at the end of the day, tucking you in (and me with you), and whispering in your ear, "I Love You". It's all about Two Hearts, each one feeling the beat of the other. Such are the quiet and soft, yet infinitely powerful, ways of love. In months past, I have always wanted to post love songs several times a day - that's me, the kind of guy who would write you all the time if I were writing actual letters or cards, who would leave little notes for you around the house, etc. But what happened was very simple; I began running out of songs! Those doggone love song writers.....they either weren't writing enough of them, or they were writing too many of the "mixed feeling" kind of love song with negative lyrics, the kind that I never want to post. (For instance, there is such a beautiful song by The Association called "Cherish", it was an enormous hit in the 60s, but then you go to read the lyrics, and.........they aren't what you expect. Not awful, but not what I like to post, but anyway..........boy I am going way off on a tangent here.)

I have always liked to post a love song, at the very least late at night (and more often when I can find the right songs; looks like I will have to start repeating songs, bring back The Scorpions and Beatles!). Anyway, so last night, I wanted to post a song like I always do, and I did (usually I try for midnight or before), and I wanted to write, too, like I always do. But then I found that I couldn't. And then I told myself, "It's no big deal", and I knew that it wasn't, and still.......I found that I couldn't write. It wasn't that I didn't wanna write, just more like I didn't know what I wanted to say. Then this morn, I thought, "Well, now I've gotta write. I've gotta write something, at the very least for communication purposes". But then I thought, "I just don't want to write one of those Explanatory Blogs, because A) I'm not feeling that way, and B) It's no big deal in the first place.

I saw your pictures, and I guess I was feeling like a bit of a fifth wheel.

Now remember: this is a mixture of sheepishness, just plain "guyness" and a touch of fragility (which is really vulnerability, which is really strength, or so I like to think).

I know those guys are your friends, the guys in the pictures. I mean, I don't "know"-know, because they aren't guys that regularly post, but I think I've seen 'em pop up a few times. The important point, regarding the pictures, is that it looked like a group of friends, at the fair, and also on a.....boat? It looked like maybe it was a boat. But at any rate, it looked like a group of friends. But here is where my analytical side must enter the picture, to make sense of things. In one picture, the guy has his arm around you.
Analytical me says: "That's no big deal. It looks like a group "friends" shot, where everybody has arms around each other. You yourself (meaning me) have pictures like that".

But then Just Plain Guy Me chimes in and says, "Well, what if it's a new boyfriend"?

Now remember, you have gotta read all this in the light it is written in, which is simple, humble honesty. Most guys wouldn't tell you all of this. Most guys would just hold their feelings in, or the reverse; throw a tantrum. Some guys who are complete wimps would pretend it didn't bug 'em..........

But with me, because I have been through the mill, you get honesty, and I try to make it analytical honesty, too, although this time I don't need to analyse too much because it really was not a big deal, especially as I can see from this morning. But I only always ask for gentle observation of the feelings of Just Plain Guy me, gentle observation on your end, and not harsh judgement, because Analytical Me can see him too, and Analytical Me knows that the best way to be - for all sides concerned - is to always offer emotional anaysis that is honest, and yet explained with humility and clarity. So please go easy on me, is all I'm saying. :)

So, in seeing the pictures, I had a feeling it was just you and your friends, and nothing more than that, and really, I guess you could say I was sure of it. But still, because I am Just A Guy with regular emotions, I didn't write even though I wanted to, because I didn't know what to say. When I say I felt like a "fifth wheel", that means I felt like anything I wrote would seem like I was sitting over in the corner saying, "Hey, look at me, over here! I'm here, too". Those pics were for you and your friends, and of course I always leave photos like that alone, for the most part, unless they are Art Photos you have taken, like portraits and such. Otherwise, I never hit the "like" button on those types of pics, because they are for you guys, and again the "fifth wheel" principle comes into effect. And it was also that principal that made me not able to write last night, even though I did want to.

This morning, I was gonna initially write another blog all about communication, et al.

So thank God for Eric Whitacre. He rules.

Eric Whitacre posts, in our language of communication, have always meant love, and "A Boy And A Girl".

And in this morning's post, which you "liked" on FB, he is wishing his wife a happy birthday.

His Wife.

Thank God for Eric Whitacre. I wanna be like him, and wish my Wife a happy birthday too.

I know you have a lot of friends, both male and female, and I know you are having a fun, busy summer, and I know that our form of communication isn't perfect (even though it is pretty darn good anyway). One day, we can resume one-to-one communication, and I will leave it for you to decide when that day is, and as I have said before, it can be whenever you choose.

But this morn, when I saw the Eric Whitacre post, I decided to write this blog, instead of the long, drawn out one. This one was still long, but it wasn't written by Ad Nauseum.

The symbolism in the posts is important, as I have said so many times before, because it hits me on an intuitive level, a gut level that in some ways is just as direct - or even more direct - than actual conversation. That is how we were able to build this language we use, and how I was able to discern your feelings to begin with, last Winter. Intuition via symbols is a very, very powerful thing.

If, as in today's post from Eric Whitacre, you are symbolising a man's love for his wife, then that is all I need to know, dear Elizabeth.

A man's love for his wife, and a woman's love for her husband. Wow. It's got to be the most beautiful form of expression between two human beings. If you are thinking of us that way, then I know everything I need to know. Please forgive Just Plain Guy me, he's just a guy, and he lives far away, and he wishes he was with you.

But he can wait!

Because he really wants to tell his Wife he loves her.  :):)

(back later........)

10:55pm : Well, my Darling, it is a nice quiet evening here in my building, always a blessing for me. The quiet, for me, is maybe similar to your Singing Bowl in one respect - it forms a continuum. And a continuum, of silence or soft harmonic sound, is a precious conduit for clear thought, and restoration of balance via meditation. I find that you can be meditative even without going into a deep trance, just by allowing your mind to relax and go where it wants. The night and the quiet time are the mind's time, and the mind always knows exactly where to go when it is on it's own.

I was reading yesterday about the Indians who used to live here in the Valley, before it was settled in the late 1800s. It was pretty mindblowing to read that they had lived here for 8000 years. Eight thousand! So that goes back to the dawn of civilization, or at least what we know of it. I am sure there were Indians all over America for thousands and thousands of years, and archaeological finds have suggested that their presence in America may go even further back than that. Because I love to think about this stuff, I think - on one hand - "man......eight thousand years. That's such a long time". An incredible length of time, really. But then I think, "wow, you know..........there are many people living who are 100 years old, and 8000 years is only 80 spans of that length of time". So maybe it's really not such a long time at all. Certainly it isn't, in geological terms anyway. In geological terms, 8000 years is a blink. But to us, it seems an eternity.

So, because I love to think about these things, it blows me away that 8000 years ago seems both like an eternity and also, in mathematical terms, like yesterday. After all, it's only 80 life spans of a 100 year old person. So I think, "can humanity really be that new? It feels, inside, like it's a lot older".

No one really knows, of course, and we are still studying the subject. Scientists do their best to come to conclusions, but still.........no one really knows. So, these are the studies that fascinate me, the curiosities that I enjoy, and when it is quiet, like tonight, and when we are in Summer and the weather is nice, I can go on my walk and try to visualise the Indians in their land, right here, 8000 years ago.

There were no paved roads then, no stores, no commerce, none of the "busy" stuff that 21st century humanity seems to feel is so important. And certainly the Indians had hardships, and didn't live what we modern people consider an "ideal life" perhaps - of that there is no doubt. But there was a constancy to it. They kept living that way for ages. And what I wonder, when it is quiet outside, is "why does my mind always connect with the past"?

I think it is because of a continuum, the same continuum we think of with the harmonic sound of the Singing Bowl, or the quiet of the night. And I think of 8000 years, like it was both ages ago, and yesterday. I like to look at the mountains that surround the Valley, for they have seen it all, and are virtually the same as they were 8000 years ago. All of it blows my mind, because - other than paying my bills and saving money and all that stuff - I have no interest in commerce and the business world and cubicles and stuff. I can operate in that world, because it is the world I live in, but my mind lives in the world described by the constancy of the mountains, and what they know.

I like to envision the continuum by itself, devoid of the planning of mankind for constant progress. Just life, as it has been lived for eons, the way the trees and mountains live it.

When I think of the continuum, I think of love, and what it must really be, why humans feel it, what kind of bond it truly is, in the long term 8000 year sense, and beyond. I like to think of it, because it has real power, and unites those of us who experience it, in the most profound way.

So much of my life has been intuition, ever since I was little, and I am constantly trying to follow it.

Love, and living in the continuum, is what makes it fascinating and worthwhile.

I Love You, my Angel, and I wish you Sweet Dreams. xoxoxoxo  :):)

Mastering (Baby Update) (late night love added)

Hey my Darling,

I saw your Mastering post this morning at Pearl's. Does this mean that your EP is now being mastered? If so, that is very exciting news! I had been wondering what the state of your recording was, but I didn't wanna keep bugging you about it, and anyway, a while back you alluded, via a symbolic post, that it was going well but was gonna "take a little while". That was the nature of the post, and you made it in response to when I originally did ask about your recording sessions, maybe last Spring. But, if it is now being completed, that is fantastic! I can't wait to hear it, so keep me posted. :)

I will be around till 12:45pm, then I have to pick up Pearl from a Reseda Women's Club meeting, then take her shopping, and then I will be around for a little while before my 4:30 shift. Have an awesome afternoon, it's a great day. I Love You!  :):)

(back later.......)

3:05pm : Ha! That's the best "baby" picture yet. :) That's your friend in the picture, right? That is a classic shot, and her Dad is a stylin' guy, but the best part is..........(wait for it)...........you're my Baby!

Ain't it the truth.  :):)

And if there's one thing My Baby knows, it's that I Love My Baby...........

(back this eve....)

10:50pm : I can't say anything about that Captcha without being inappropriate myself, lol, or at least losing my gentleman status, but the Captcha seems to know that those three words kind of go together, like an equation. Man + hand =................well, you get the idea.

I wonder what else the Captcha knows? Dang mind reading 'bots.......

Today is Midsummer. Today or tomorrow, one of the two. I hate the way they try to end summer early, with Fall advertising, and late August school start-ups. Listen people - Summer's only half over! Don't let 'em shortchange you.

I am still waiting for Summer to truly kick in here in L.A. Or, I should say "in the Valley", cause Summer, at least in the past, was always a whole lot hotter here in the Valley than in L.A. the city. In The Valley, the mountains trap the heat, but we are close enough to the ocean (25 miles) that if there is a marine layer of overcast clouds blowing in, the mountains will trap that, too. And that is what we've had recently, full overcast in the morn, and afternoons that feel more like spring than summer. It's pleasant, and really, you might consider it ideal summer weather..........but I am missing my heat! In the past, you could always count on weeks of 95 degrees or hotter, but ever since the climate change we've had mild summers.

Summer here in SoCal tends to extend to Halloween, and even sometimes till Thanksgiving, so maybe the heat will come. But in any event, don't let 'em gyp you out of the rest of your Summer. It lasts until September 21, school or no school, advertising or no advertising, and I remind you of this as a Summer Traditionalist.

Well, I resumed my walks this eve. I couldn't take it anymore! To start back up with, I only did a half walk, but I will go back to full length within a day or two. Wanna resume my night photography, too.

I am super excited to hear your music, whenever it is done, of course. That is where we left off, in our one-on-one conversations last Summer and early Fall. That was right about the time you first went into the studio. We were always talking about music then, and we will again.

I Love You, Elizabeth!  Sweet Dreams, my Angel.  xoxoxoxo  :):)

Doing Stuff (more added, geomancy and stuff)

Hey Awesome Lady,

I saw your post this afternoon. I hear ya! Outdoors is the place to be. Because of my work schedule, I am kind of in-and-out-and-back in again, then out some more. There is a sameness to it, like any job, but some days are more "in" than "out", and vice-versa. The best part is that my day is broken up, and I do get an hour here, or two hours there, to do what I want, so it's not like being stuck in the Dreaded Cubicle all day every day. It is seven days a week, but I'm not complaining because it pays the bills, and I can save a fair amount of money, and I still have some free time (an hour here and there, as mentioned). My main free time is my nights, and I do love the night because of the quiet, as I've also mentioned before.

For me, I use the computer mainly as a communication tool, never for gaming or endless browsing. I don't know if you meant me as part of that post (cringe!, just kidding, I know you probably just meant that you'd rather be outside yourself), but although I do use the computer as an everyday tool for communication, I work it in throughout the day, just to see what's happening. It's funny, because I am one of the all-time anti-gadget people. I never even had a cell until two years ago. I've never even played a single video game in my life. I am Mr. Let's Go Do Stuff. The problem for me is A) My job is seven days, and B) Everybody I know is either busy with other things, or not interested. So, for a lot of what I do, I wind up having to do it myself, like the short road trips I go on, like to Vasquez Rocks or somewhere. But if you were here or I were there, we would be doing all kinds of things together. Even simple stuff, like just sitting out on the grass playing guitars. Before my friends all turned into wimps (or had kids, or....died), we used to get together all the time, to play sports, go to the beach, go to Hollywood, all over the place. With my band, we spent a lot of time practicing, and that was for several years, and you know how that is. This is the first generation that has grown up around electronics, or at least around multiple gadgets, where gadgets are a major drain on the attention span. But for me, I just use the computer, and no other gadgets, just to communicate. Also to browse a little, see what's going on. But I'd have never met you if it wasn't for the computer, and it is after all our communication lifeline, so...........there you have it. But, being outside is the place to be, I certainly agree with that. In the bigger picture, you could just call it "doing stuff", whether a person is inside or outside.

Anyhow, I am taking one final night off from my walk, just to make sure all the soreness is gone, so I will be around and I will check back in later. One thing you can be sure of, is that you and I will have fun. That's why I'm always writing, saying, imagine a dream trip..........because we can make it happen!

Anyway, back in a little while. I Love You!  :):)

10:45pm : Here's a word for you. Have you ever heard of Geomancy? I hadn't. I got it out of another Joe Farrell book that I just started, called "The Grid Of The Gods". I know I probably shouldn't have begun another Farrell so soon after finishing "Philosopher's Stone", but the new Stephen King isn't out yet, and anyway I am hooked on Joe F! (and, that's another thing about me - I have gotta have a book. It's like music, something I need every day). The title of the book gives away it's subject, which is an ancient science or physics based on three grid systems - the celestial, or outer grid; the Earth grid, where we live, and a micro grid of energies and lines of force on a subatomic level. It once again has to do with Lines Of Force, and spin velocity and torsion and electromagnetism, but anyway - geomancy. It is a form of divination in which rocks or sand are tossed randomly on the ground, and then the patterns are observed to discover lines of force in the Earth. These lines are called Ley Lines and they are said to form a grid that connects both outwardly, to a celestial grid of planets and stars, and inward, to a fractal-like micro grid of infinitesimal, planet-like bodies : atoms, electrons and quanta.

Check out the Wiki link for Geomancy, because there is an interesting looking gadget (since we are talking gadgets!) that derives from 13th century Egypt or Syria. Here is the link : en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geomancy

I don't know if the link will post operably here at Blogger as they did at Myspace, but give it a try. That piece of gear is pretty mindblowing, looking as it does almost a machined piece of copper, with dials all gauged to astrological and celestial measurements.

Geomancy, according to the Wiki, was one of the seven "forbidden arts" of the Middle Ages, another of which was Necromancy, or talking with the deceased.

I find that copper instrument mindblowing, because it is indicative of not only a high knowledge from long ago, but a knowledge that was hidden or suppressed. Not simply discounted, as much of metaphysics has been by the modern scientific community, but actively suppressed. There is something in this ancient science that can tap into different types of power, power that involved this triple grid system and these ley lines.

I love this stuff, and I mention it to you only because you have a lot of knowledge and hands on experience with metaphysical practices. My background is more supernatural, but I think the disciplines are not too different. Metaphysics are based on an ancient (hidden or occulted) science, and the supernatural is something less formally structured, and yet highly intuitive.

At any rate, that's my word of the day - Geomancy.

I Love You, Elizabeth! I hope your day was good, and I will see you in the morning.

Sweet Dreams.........  :):)

Chillin' At Home (more added)

Hey my Darling,

I'm back from Pearl's, a long day of dentist appointment (for her), shopping, a trip to the bank, etc. I was online last night looking at info about sore knees, and everything I read says to rest it until all the pain goes away. It's not bad now, but I don't wanna take any chances, so I will forgo my walk again tonight, and maybe tomorrow night too. I also found some knee strengthening excercises on Youtube, so I will work those into my routine in the future. I have been fortunate with my health and I wanna keep it that way.
That is a nice picture of Aurelien and the young lady. I don't know if it was meant for my interpretation, but if so, I guess it means "he has a girlfriend"? Whatever the case, no matter the reason, it's all good. :)

Well, I am gonna hang around tonight, maybe watch a movie, start a new book, do some writing, I dunno. But I will be here, and I'll write more later! I hope your day was good.

I Love You!  :):)

(back later......)

11:20pm : Getting ready to go to bed, my body feels weird from a non-expenditure of energy for the past two days. I have a friend named Jon Sutherland, he is a runner who has not missed a day of running at least a mile since 1969. 44 years. He is now an official American record holder in that respect. His average, even at 62 years old, is about 8 miles a day. I have known him since I was 13, when I used to hang out at a record store called College Records, which you've probably seen me write about before. Anyway, I've known Jon forever - his whole life is Rocking & Running. He is the reason I started my walks, which used to be runs (always 5 miles, I am no Jon Sutherland!). My walks turned into walks because when I was running, my knees would hurt. Running is high impact. But Jon hasn't missed a day since 1969! Me, I miss days here and there, and they are walking days, but I love them. Can't wait to start back up!

I hope you had a nice evening. I'm always interested in what you are thinking, how you are feeling, just so we can have conversations............   :)

I Love You, Elizabeth.  :):)

Now I've Got It! :) (Nice Pictures) (late night love added)

Okay Awesome Lady! I had to go back and check, and I see I got something else wrong. What I thought was a photograph of dendritic limestone was not a photograph at all, but an actual piece of dendritic limestone. You have to bear with me because I am new to the subject. :) I took it as a photograph because of the rectangular shape and what I perceived to be trees or ferns in the "picture". I thought it was a photo, possibly of some limestone formations of rocks like we have at Chatsworth Park. But it is an actual piece of dendritic limestone.

I know because I Googled it, and I see that what I thought were "ferns" in a "picture" are really manganeze crystal formations. I see at a gemstone website that the dendrite promotes protection, abundance, healing, longevity and other benefits. And it says that the snowflake obsidian promotes inner balance and centering! That is awesome. It says the obsidian also represents purity. All of this is awesome.

I am wondering how you came to know about crystals and gems, and their different powers? Does it have to do with resonance? I am just guessing. Hey, have you ever heard of a guy named Hermes Trismegistus, aka the "Thrice Magical" Hermes, aka the Egyptian God Thoth? I just read about him in "The Philosopher's Stone". He was an alchemist and father of Hermetic Medicine and the Seven Hermetic Principles. I don't know much about him, or Hermeticism - having only just read about it - but I guess it has to do with transcendence, and bridging the physical existence with the spiritual plane.

All fantastic stuff, and it is wonderful that you practice these arts and techniques. I was a little slow on the uptake in figuring out the objects in your picture, and their various meanings, but I've got it now! And I am learning more all the time about how the celestial bodies affect our lives, how we are affected by Time, and Torsion...........it is all fascinating, and the bottom line is that we are indeed eternal.

Well, my Angel, I wanted to check in to say Hi, and that I learned more about the rocks and crystals. Now you will have to teach me about the Runes, too.

I am gonna go pick up Pearl from church in a few, but I'll be back later and this evening, too.

I Love You With All My Heart.     xoxoxoxoxo  :):)

8:00pm : I am looking at your photos. I especially like the tan butterfly or moth nestled within the green leaves. He's like the small bird in your photo of the water lillies from the other day - safely tucked into his environment, and pictured that way. I also like the slightly downward angle of the fish. He is heading deeper into the water - his environment - and you captured him just before that. All good photos. You have a way with photographing critters and insects, as well as people.

Well, I for once am staying at home and not going for my walk, because I have had a little pain in my left knee for a couple days, and this eve it is a little swollen below the kneecap. Maybe a little tendonitis, I dunno. I've never had a strain injury from distance walking, but I've been doing it for almost 14 years now, so maybe I finally got one. I hate missing my walk, but I am just gonna rest it and see if that helps. In any case, I will be back later! I Love You.  :):)

10:55pm - I saw your video! I hope it was okay for me to watch it ( I discovered it was on Youtube because I saw your comment about it on FB). Pretty funny stuff, the ending especially. In the credits, you are listed as a DP, so good job, and I knew you were the still photographer too. I hope you guys did good at the Madison screenings. :) If you like filmmaking, there is no shortage of opportunities.

Well, I have been thinking about it, and maybe our first trip should be somewhere like Angkor Wat or Stonehenge or Machu Piccu. Seriously. I know that a lot of these places are tourist traps now, but being that we are both interested in celestial energies, it might be interesting to visit a monumental site that was perhaps designed along those principles, of magnetic lines of force and so on. Even the Greek Parthenon and other temples have been suggested as, in part, communicative structures, or broadcast structures, the marble columns and their spacing and arrangements acting as power sources and antennae. These sites were all built at specific places on the globe, along these lines of electromagnetic force. This is what zero point energy is all about, though that is another subject.

But once, millennia ago, there were other high-level civilizations here. Whether they originated on Earth or not, no one really knows. But there is a lot of evidence to suggest they came from elsewhere. And all of these monuments built by ancient human civilizations were constructed, in part, as tributes to these "Gods" but also as devices with which to communicate - harmonically, psychically, intuitively, you name it.

There may have been other forms of communication in the ancient past, and there certainly was another form of science. It's such an involved subject, but both of us are interested in it. So we could pick a place to visit, even an obscure one. It's something to think about!

Well, I hate not getting my excercise, but I am hoping that resting my knee will solve the problem. As with everything else, time will tell, and hopefully it will tell tomorrow so I can get back to my walks!

In any case, it will be a great week, with more photography, more mystery, more interesting discoveries, more beautiful weather, and more love. That last part is guaranteed!

I Love You, Elizabeth, and I just want to get deeper into all of these subjects with you.

All night hugs and kisses, and if sleep is possible, then sweet dreams too!  xoxoxoxoxo  :):)

Saturday Afternoon Love (a metaphysical hug and kiss added, and real ones too)

A tight and long-lasting hug for you, my Angel, on this early Saturday afternoon. The kind of hug you never want to let go from! It's another very pleasant, and yet "cool enough to be unseasonable" afternoon here in Northridge. Very quiet in my building, and in the 'hood in general. I awoke from my final sleep-in of this vacation to find myself out of coffee filters, which could only mean one thing - a walk to Starbucks! Of course, that means a mere one-block-walk, not only here but pretty much anywhere in America (or even the world, I suppose). The ubiquitous Starbucks. I don't know if you are a coffee person, but I like it in the morning (green tea in the afternoon!), and so out the door I went. It is indeed a gorgeous day, and I hope it is for you as well.............(checking weather.com to make sure).........aha! I see it is "cloudy" where you are, but with 0% chance of rain and clearing by the evening. And, a pleasant 75 to 78 degrees. Not too different from what we have here, so we are both enjoying nice weather. I do hope it will heat up at some point, though. As an Angeleno, I miss my 95 to 105 degree days (or at least I think I miss them, lol), and we have had, thus far, one of the mildest Summers in recent memory.........

I think of you all the time, morning noon and night. If you are ever going about your day, and suddenly you wonder, "hmmmmm, what is Adam doing right now"?, well, that's what I'm doing - thinking about you. It is not long before we will be thinking about one another while walking hand in hand. We are going to make it happen, will it to happen.

Well, that is all for the moment. I wanted to send you some afternoon love, a special kind of love, quiet but with the Sun out and a soft breeze blowing. You are my Angel, Elizabeth.

This eve, after my return to Pearl's, I am gonna drive over to Santa Monica for a little while. My sister did not come over for Saturday shopping but called to say that a friend of hers is in town from Washington state, and so Vickie invited me to come over and say hello, maybe get something to eat. She has been friends with this lady, Sue, since junior high (middle school to you), so I have known Sue since I was about 6. So, I am gonna drive over there at 6:30, but then I should be back by 10pm or so, my time. I will write more when I get back, but what I will be doing the entire time, beginning right now, is thinking how much I love you, and how much I can't wait to tell you so in person.

Have a wonderful afternoon and early evening, my Beautiful Girl, and I will see you later tonight.

(and, I will be here, and at Pearl's too, until 6:30).   I Love You!  xoxoxoxoxoxo  :):)

10:05pm : I'm back from Santa Monica. We had a nice dinner at a Mexican restaurant. It was fun talking to Sue and my sister. It turns out they have known each other since 1963, so that is since I was three years old. I reminded them both about being Weird Drama People, and all the Weird Drama People parties they threw at our house, that I remember from when I was a little kid.......

I saw your picture when I was at Pearl's, and at first I thought you meant rock collecting, and I guess the collecting is part of it, am I right? And at first I did not know what the bowl was for. The only thing I could think of was "mortar and pestle", but then, seeing that the bowl appeared to be metal I thought "that can't be it", and I was pretty sure you didn't mean chemistry anyhow. I knew, from your runes, that the rocks must have a spiritual and/or metaphysical significance. I also wasn't sure if the black and white pyramid shaped object was a rock. At first I thought maybe it was a candle. I knew the photo within your posted photo was a picture of rocks, but I was pondering the other two objects, and the object with a handle.

Then I saw the bowl identified as a Singing Bowl. Because of Pearl's crashy computer (every time you move the mouse - doggone thing!), and because I was headed to Santa Monica after work, I had to wait until I got home to Google it. So a Singing Bowl is actually a musical instrument? I see it is used in conjuction with meditation. It is Tibetan or of general Himalayan origin? That is interesting. Is it used with the snowflake obsidian pyramid? I ask because in my Googling I see it (the Singing Bowl) is used for all kinds of musical applications, meditations and therapies.

It is also very interesting because in reading "The Philosopher's Stone", which had a lot to do with the historical study of alchemy, I learned that through the ages various mystics, philosophers, physicians, and even madmen (Nazis) seached for exotic types of matter that could be confected (i.e. cooked) into a transmutative medium by which the aether could be accessed. These alchemists were generally trying to turn base metals into gold, just to get rich, but some - who may have known ancient secrets - were trying to take things a step further, and use the process to physically separate the spiritual component of the exotic matter. They believed, for instance, that mercury had literally another dimension within it's chemical makeup, or that another dimension could be "separated out" of it's atomic structure through alchemical processes.

Joe Farrell is such a genius writer, and knows so much about the physics involved, that he explains that the process - which has been investigated in more recent times by some scientists with open minds (like Kozyrev) - has to do with things like spin orientation and high speed nucleic rotation, and that some types of exotic matter have atoms that are spinning at such a rate that, when superheated, their nuclei literally deform and are expelled into a fourth or fifth temporal dimension, a Dimension Of Time. They have superheated some of these elements, like Thorium, and in that state, when they place the element into a pan, the pan weighs less with the element in it than it does empty.

So the element has lost mass, and the mass goes into another dimension.

That, of course, is a really weird aspect of the subject, but Joe writes all about the energies inherant in pyramid structures, rotational masses, field systems, and the lattice-structure of both crystals and the aether itself. Most of his books have to do with how the Nazis may have tried to revive ancient sciences in search of new sources of power and propulsion; i.e. things they could weaponize, so in that sense he is not strictly a metaphysical or New Age writer, and yet he is so well educated on all those subjects (he is an Oxford phD), and he has such an understanding, and ability to explain the workings of all these things, that you come away fascinated with how the harmonics work. That is what the ancient cultures understood, and that Western science and medicine has largely dispensed with ; the idea of harmonics in the Universe, and the way harmonics work on a subatomic level.

And getting back to your Singing Bowl and it's use in meditation, am I correct in assuming that the tone it gives off is connected to a healing power? If so, would it come from a certain frequency or range of frequency? I don't mean to make the subject too technical, but it is interesting to see - and therefore understand - how the ancient sciences were developed, and how they came to understand that a certain sound could promote meditation, and another sound healing, and so forth.

The atomic and nucleic structures of rocks and various exotic forms of matter have all kinds of powers as well, and that was what alchemy was all about, the separation and harnessing of those powers. It is a long subject to go into, and you know more about it than I, but I am coming to understand that the lattice-structures at the subatomic level in these rocks and exotic forms of matter can act as transmitters and receivers of energy, and of harmonics. Farrell thinks that the great pyramid of Giza was a transmitter of sorts.

It all goes back to the structure at the subatomic level, and the way that harmonics play through those structures, and the torsion of the Universe, etc. These were things known to certain of the Ancients in antidiluvian times (before the Flood), and after these sciences were lost, many tried to regain them over the millenia.

I don't know the specifics of reading runes, or the specific uses of the Singing Bowl or the obsidian pyramid, but in reading about them and getting a general sense of how they work, I am fascinated because it is along the same lines of the things I am currently reading about!

I am fascinated by science, but only as long as it delivers the mysterious and the magical. If it is mere measuring and equations, I find it dull as dishwater. But when the Mystery Schools are involved, as in the Metaphysics of The Ancients, then it is my favorite subject. I'd love to know how you got interested in these things.

Once, when I was eight years old, my Uncle Earl Hamner drove Dad and me out to the desert, along the Pearblossom Highway. And he stopped out in the middle of nowhere to show us pieces of obsidian - black glass. I remember we collected it and brought it back home. I wish I still had it. In later years, I always wondered why Uncle Earl drove us out there that day. And I always wondered where the obsidian came from...........

I Love You, Elizabeth! You are an interesting lady, and I am learning new things from you. Tell me more!

Sweet dreams and a giant hug and kiss, and I will see you in the morn, back to early wake ups.  :):)

Happy Friday (specialness added)

Hey my Darling,

Happy Friday afternoon. I'm hanging out at home, relaxing on my final day off. I just finished watching another Max Ophuls movie, "Le Plaisir". He is the director with the fantastic camerawork I was telling you about a couple weeks ago, who made "The Earrings Of Madame de.......". "Le Plasir" was pretty tremendous, too, three different stories about the pursuit of pleasure, written by an 19th century author named Guy De Maupassant, who I've heard of but don't know much about. These are Criterion art house films, and you sort of have to develop a liking for them because it's an older style of filmmaking, but they are very artistically made and the cinematography - in black and white - is really beautiful. And so are the stories.

So, that was my Friday early afternoon. I hope you are having a great day. I will be back later, but I wanted to tell you I Love You. xoxoxoxoxoxoxo

(so many hugs and kisses......one day in person.........I can't wait for that day!)  :):)

10:40pm : Nothing major to report from the remainder of the day, and all told it was a low-key vacation period, but I did get much needed rest and a recharging of the batteries. It's all good, as they say. And, in the big picture, I continue to save money for actual vacations, for things we can do when the time comes. If you want, you can plant the seed in your head of things you would like to do, and when you would like to do them. What could be the first thing we will do together, after meeting of course? Will it be a concert? Maybe a medium-length road trip? Will it be a simple night out, locally, or will it be a major excursion to another country? It can be anything you want it to be, and it can be anytime you want it to be, so all you have to do is imagine it, and it will happen.

I finished my Joe Farrell book, "The Philosopher's Stone", which took me a month to read, and while the physics was tough (I had to Google "visualising six dimensions"), in the end it was one of the most satisfying books I have ever read. The difference between Joe and all the other writers on these kinds of subjects is that he finds the magic involved, and his curiosity translates to the reader. This is the reason I read all the books I do, and watch the kinds of movies I do, and listen to the birds in the morning, and center myself in prayer, and concentrate my energy towards the non-usual, is so life will be special.

I want life to be special, and I mean that for both of us.

There can be times when all the other factors in the Ordinary World threaten to pull you in. The Ordinary World is the world most people feel at home in, and God Bless Them, for that is a good place for many people. You and I live our lives with one foot in that world too. But what I do, and I am pretty good at it after all these years, is to make sure I (and you) never get stuck in it. For us, to have one foot in the Ordinary World is enough. So it is my job to explore, every single day of my life, through all my intakes of reading, thinking, observing, and just being, and then process what I have taken in and give it to you, for whatever worth it may have, so that your life will always be lived in the Magical World, and never entirely in the Ordinary one.

It's the only way I know how to live.

And you?.........you are anything but ordinary.

I have known it since the day we met. That's why I do what I do.

I Love You, my Darling. I will see you in the morn. Night-long hugs and kisses until then. xoxoxoxoxo  :):)
